Ashley Wolf

Hello, my name is Ashley Wolf, founder and owner of Bark & Biscuit, Inc. I founded Bark & Biscuit with a specific goal in mind.  I wanted to provide dog owners with the help they desperately need. In doing so, I would provide the answers and results they longed for, along with the personalized care, compassion, and understanding that they and their pets deserve. All my life I have had a love for animals, but dogs have always held a special place in my heart. Several years ago, I had a dog who had some serious behavioral issues, so I know first hand what it's like to feel frustrated and hopeless. I'm here to tell you there is hope!

My mission is to create well balanced, well behaved dogs and happy, highly satisfied owners. I achieve this goal through training, exercise, structure, fun, and one of a kind care. You don't just become my client, you become a part of Wolf's Pack. So if you are ready to transform your dog and your life, we are here to help!

With over 25 years of pet ownership under my belt, I understand the importance of being able to find someone you can really trust and rely on to take care of your dog. After all, they are part of your family! I know that for my clients there is a need for something different than the traditional dog care available around every corner. In enters, Bark & Biscuit.

My Commitment is to become the best trainer I can be and provide the best possible service to my clients. I attend seminars and workshops every chance I get to become more knowledgeable and to learn the latest techniques. I have had the honor of learning from some of the best trainers in the country like Marc Goldberg, Kacey Cover and Heather Beck. I graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelors of Science in Anthropology, making me an expert on humans and dogs alike! I spent the last five years volunteering for Salt Lake County Animal Shelter, as well as for various other rescue groups and causes. I also foster dogs in my home to help free up valuable kennels in the shelters, or help train the more aggressive ones, to shape them into adoptable, family pets. I love the warm, gooey feeling I get from helping a dog find its forever home.

In severe cases, training can even save a dog's life. Without professional training, your relationship with your dog can sometimes be frustrating and exhausting. Investment in good training a watch a wonderful transformation occur between you and your dog!

 Nakia

Nakia showing off how well she can stay in a sit
Nakia is a 9 year old pit bull mix who helps Ashley keep the pack in line on our socialization adventures. She is very patient and tolerant of other dogs and helps them learn social skills. She helps Ashley evaluate other dogs as well.

Daisy

This little chihuahua mix started out as a foster with her mother Rosalie. Daisy was adopted by a little family and about a year later was returned. This ended up being such a blessing and we just wouldn't be the same with out this little girl. Daisy is so patient with all dogs and isn't afraid to tell a dog they are being too pushy or energetic. When there isn't too much snow or it isn't too cold out, Daisy hikes right along with the big dogs. She also is a very big asset in helping us evaluate dogs.

Rosalie aka Rose

Rosalie, or more commonly known as Rose was Ashley's first "foster failure". Ashley began fostering Rose and her daughter Daisy at the same time through K9 Lifeline and just feel in love with her. You won't see much of this little chihuahua in the winter unless it's by the heater or fireplace. Otherwise she is curled up in a little nest she has made. Rose is amazing at helping other little dogs come out of their shell and seems to get along with them all. She also has a soft spot for all the big male dogs. Rose is very good at teaching dogs about respecting space and boundaries.

Sensi

Sensi is a 14 year old Russian Blue who helps our Dream Dog and Calm Canine dogs practice their manners with cats. Living around many, many dogs for most of his life he has a special talent for knowing if and when a dog is ready to test itself with his approach.
